Earthquake Rocks Port-au-Prince!

Everyone is aware of the plight of Haitians in and around Port-au-Prince these past few months.  Global Passion Mission has donated money to the task of feeding peoples in the impoverished areas of Cite Militaire and in the slums of LaSaline.  217,000 people  died during this earthquake.  We appreciate everyone's prayers and support during this trying time!

All too often, missions are strong on the ideal of charity, without teaching self-sufficiency.  We at Global Passion Mission recognize that any charity which is not based on the ideal of teaching self-sufficiency is doomed to failure because it cannot in principle be sustained.  Global Passion Mission is dedicated to teaching people how to develop the economic and agricultural resources within their own communities, while overcoming ignorance, poverty, helplessness and hopelessness.

Mission Statement !

We will demonstrate God's love for humanity, by developing global awareness in successfully combating hunger and malnutrition, by uplifting the spiritual man, and encouraging self-sustaining communities through education and practical skills.

This little child was brought in from the street covered with sores and shaking uncontrollably from malnourishment.
Here, Hephzibah applies a neem paste over the body to fight infection and to promote healing for this little girl.
